We are HamakerLove! BJ, Clair, Jane, Denny and Baby Alice.:)
We have been on the journey to natural healthy living for the last few years and have decided to start a blog chronicling our hits and misses with it.:) We thought that by leaving our blog open to comment it would help keep us more committed to our goals (because the comments would keep us accountable:).
So please feel free to comment, ask questions, give suggestions, etc! All we ask is that you remember we are human and very apt to make mistakes. Please keep an open mind (we drink wheatgrass and cloth diaper our babies:), and please keep your comments positive (we have sensitive feelings in this vulnerable state of changing our lifestyle:).

Our Ultimate Goals for Natural and Healthy Living

*We want to eat a diet that is 80% whole foods.

*We want to learn how to grow a lot more of our own produce.

*Through better nutrition and newly sought knowledge we hope to boost our family's immunity to illness.

*We want to strive to be more responsible for the impact we make on this beautiful earth. We believe that in the beginning of this world God gave this Earth into Adam and Eve's stewardship, and that as their progeny we also share that responsibility as much as we are able.

*We want to teach our children natural healthy living.

FINALLY! Some sense from accross the pond.

On our family blog I posted about how appalling it is that no one has suggested nutrition or personal hygiene to prevent catching the swine flu.
It took an article from accross the pond to finally get the beginnings of sense.

This comment has absolutely nothing to do with this particular post however I have two suggestions for you on your 101 in 1001. First #22 as gross as it sounds using human waste is actually one of the best ways to create a compost/fertilizer that is perfect for your family...if you have your own garden which I'm assuming you do.
